Company History
Bryan Pollard is the founder of the business, having commenced his Plumbing & Gasfitting apprenticeship in 1985.
Bryan completed his time in 1989 and attained trade certificate in both Plumbing & Gasfitting. He then continued his studies for a further 2 years to attain the status of Craftsman Plumber & Craftsman Gasfitter.
Having a love of toiling and challenges, Bryan set about working for himself, forming his own business in Manurewa in 1990.
This was a successful venture for the duration of 4 years following Bryans completion of apprenticeship, however Bryan's big picture was to travel to broaden his horizons overseas before settling down. So, after finishing all contracts and selling his home (and buying another in Browns Bay), Bryan set off on the big OE in 1994.
The year is now 1998.
Having returned from overseas experience in the offshore oil oilfields in the UK, and in the outback mining industry in Australia, Bryan sought to re-establish himself in the NZ plumbing industry.
Hydropro Ltd currently operates out of Albany, North Shore, Auckland & currently employs staff of 7.
We carry out the full range of plumbing & gas with the exception of maintenance at this stage.
